Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

unreliable oven

Anne 8/24/2022

I bought this oven and immediately found the temperature would not stay at the temperature set. Bosch authorized repairs twice. Problem never resolved--unusable--the inability to regulate heat, and heat not evenly distributed--When baking, part of the item is burned, part is undercooked. This was a lemon, and the warranty ran out before I realized how bad it was. Would not trust a Bosch oven again. Also, customer service is extremely hard to get through to--long wait times and promised call backs don't happen

I love my new oven!

Gatorgal 7/23/2021

My new oven cooks everything beautifully on both normal or convection baking. Easy to clean too. Plus it's a beautiful addition to my kitchen

Oven shortcomings.

Jeff 6/14/2021

the oven works very well, but there are a few areas that I find troublesome. The fact that the self cleaning only exists for the sides of the oven presents a need for manuel cleaning. It is not a self cleaning oven. The broiler set up also is probleatic as no broiling shelf is provided. The broiler pan? is to deep and an additional broiling rack is neede for proper broiling. I love the fact that dials are used, rather than all electronics. The limited electronics I find to be a bit confusing.

only one rack?

Rackless 5/21/2021

I've not used it yet, but it has only one rack!! The tray is a nice feature, but I keep a pizza stone in the oven and need a rack for that. So, I just shelled out $64 to buy another rack. Yikes!

Quiet

Jimm 1/22/2021

The oven is much quieter than my previous non-Bosch oven. Temperatures seem precise.
