Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

It is a learning curve to operate this range. The smell from the oven on the initial uses was NOT pleasant at all. It is less noticeable now.The induction cook top is really wonderful! We love it.

The even heat of the cooktop was something I didn't know I was missing. My scrambled eggs are now next level. The Air Fry oven is stunning. We have done fries twice, and you would NEVER know they weren't dipped in a vat of oil.

Ant2424 11/13/2024

Love the range, Too things, One, you cannot get the range pushed back to the wall and this leaves a 1" gap between the range and wall, Two, it's sometimes hard to get the main power to go on when trying to use the stove top. Other than that it works great and looks great.

Fantastic Range!

Joanna H 11/8/2024

Grab a coffee because I want to do a thorough review! I had looked around for quite a while and decided to go for induction. I *would have preferred* gas, but the gas company will not deliver to my location (too rough)...so I had to find and electric stove that would help me with all the cooking and baking I do on a regular basis. When I ordered the stove, the first one was electrically bad and physically damaged. We first noted the bottom of the stove was bent (the box was buggered up a bit, but accepted it). Now, we have to accept delivery about 2 miles away from my house because the delivery truck will NOT make to my house. We were careful and have done this before (built the dang house, so we know)...anyway go it to the house and off loaded just fine. We got it almost connected and saw the bent bottom - hubby was struggling with the storage drawer. I'm not sure WHY these ovens are delivered in a box...not attached to a pallet or anything. The bottom is a heavier cardboard and dense foam for the feet, but hardly anything sturdy or protective. Once we connected the electricity, the oven would turn on, but the stove top would NOT. I fiddled with it. Push and hold...nothing. Tap, tap, tap...nothing. Slid my finger....nothing. So I called Home Depot with in a few hours of accepting the delivery and told them to come get it and delivery a new one. Sometimes things are bad from the get-go, so I thought I'd try again for the same stove. They delivered in about 10 days. The pictures are of the second new stove. Honestly, I am IN LOVE with this stove. It DOES behave very much like gas (well, you can't warm up a tortilla over the burner like you would with gas, lol) but in just about every way else, it is extremely responsive! A pot of cold water boils in about 7 minutes. The one picture of the stove top shows how it looks when it's actually ON. The bread is amazing. That roast was excellent. One of my BIG requirements is a large oven...some of the 36" ranges were smaller ovens than this, which I though was odd. I needed space for when I bake 6 or 7 loaves of bread at a time, or several pans of cookies. This was the biggest in a 30" range I found. A word on the pots...yeah induction requires different pots, but you probably have some. That skillet is a Lodge carbon steel. I have loads of other Cast Iron. I had 1 stainless steel pot that worked. I did find my granite speckle ware works perfectly fine and the handles do not get hot at all. I'm looking for made in America made all Stainless Steel, but that doesn't seem to exist (not even All Clad..handles are made 'overseas')Yes, I would totally recommend this oven for any serious home cook!

We like this Range.

Kindlefreak 10/27/2024

We have only been using the new Induction range for a couple of weeks but so far we like it. We bought a new set of inexpensive Circulon cookware at Costco that work well with the Induction system. The stove top controls for the "burners" are easy to see and operate with a very light touch. The speed of the heating pots and pans is really fast. It took a few days to get used to using induction cooking but now it is becoming second nature. We have used the oven quite a bit and it works very well as expected. The Air Fry function has only been used once, to fry frozen fish filets, and it did a very good job of heating and crisping the filets. The oven knobs on the face of the range are pretty self-explanatory but the printing on the knobs is small and would be better if back lit. The display screen is very bright and readable but would be better if angled out. It's a little flat for a taller person. The instruction booklet is somewhat difficult to find answers to questions. For instance, the timer alert seems to only beep 7 or 8 times then stops instead of continuing until you manually stop it. we can't find this addressed in the booklet. Overall we like the range quite a bit and are happy with the purchase.

My First Induction

Ally D 10/27/2024

As an avid cooker, I can tell right away that my cooking will need a test run on several dishes I cook. The induction stovetop gets really hot. The manual suggests start cooking at setting 9, but I think that is way too hot for most of the dishes I've cooked. I've steamed eggs and found the eggs start to crack pretty quickly so I lower the cook setting to 5 after starting at 7. Simmering stews at 2 has been efficient as well. The air fry and bake settings have gone great for me. Loved the roasted veggies I made in my new oven! I love the roller rack as it's easier and safer to pull the food out.

Loving my new stove

Baking Nonna 10/22/2024

I did a ton of research when shopping for a new stove. The Frigidaire fit the bill. The cost was reasonable and rated well among higher end options. I'm still adjusting to cooking on the induction top. The oven bakes like a dream, perfectly evenly baked cookies and cakes. The stove is sleek and cleans like a dream. I gave 4 stars because im not crazy about the bridge burner, cook is uneven. Cooking with single pots is amazing, bringing water to a boil is fabulous.

CShell 10/17/2024

I have had this range for a month now and so far I am happy with it. The oven maintains heat evenly front to back so baked items cook evenly. The air fry feature works well too and allows me to air fry large batches. Induction cooktop is easy to use and works well. Overall very happy with my purchase. I do wish Frigidaire provided a 3 inch filler piece for the back of the range for those of us who are switching from free standing.

I'm happy with a lot of things about this range, but not all.

DCOR 10/6/2024

I love the huge oven and it's features, although it takes a while to preheat. As for the cook top, it has not met my expectations. The largest "burner" does not evenly heat even a 9" cast iron pan. My very old electric stove did a better job. I was looking forward to the bridge element so that I could use a cast iron griddle pan (with even heat throughout) but the middle was far cooler than the two ends. I am going to call and ask for advice, but I am fairly disappointed in this long awaited upgrade to induction.

While we have had the range for only two weeks, we are quite happy with it. Induction cooking is amazing, and easy to use. We switched from gas (also a Frigidaire model) for health and environmental concerns even though we loved cooking with gas. Keeping the cooktop clean/streak-free is a challenge, but probably no different than any other glass/ceramic cooktop.

Great Stove

Pet Luvr 9/21/2024

A little soon to try all the features. Had trouble figuring out how to use. Also, there should be some sort of gap filler for this stove and after contacting Frigidaire, nothing yet. My cord box prohibits it from aligning against the wall and had something fall behind already. At 81 moving the stove to get this is not easy. I have had to be creative to fill the gap and prevent things falling behind the stove. Love the pull out shelf. If two can be used, would be interested in buying a second one in place of the stationary one. Love the stove top. It really works beautifully. Very sensitive though, and a slight movement over makes things ding. Considering what I was using prior, this is a terrific step up. What is more important at least to me is this: Too many appliances now have to have an app and wifi connection in order to use them. With so many breaches and unsolicited gathering of personal data, I don't want that. I looked far and wide to find a stove not dependant on my wifi connection or an app to be able to operate. I just wanted a stove that would cook and bake to perfection. It is the gap filler that is troublesome. There is one, but not for my stove. There is a plate that can be installed, but it is a thin piece of stainless steel and there will still be a gap and things can still fall behind. A gap filler is quite important unless I call an electrician to move the box. All in all I recommend this stove and really am enjoying all of its features. Ease of cleaning, and ability to bake and also the added plus was the probe that I can use for precise baking/roasting. It is very sensitive and you can reach and the buttons turn on, and the oven knob moves with ease. Just have to be more careful. This is a great oven.

Terrible Frigidaire Experience. Clearly a defective control board.

Jake159 8/27/2024

I purchased this range from my local appliance store. It was delivered brand new in its packaging and the oven would not turn on. (The left dial turned the unit on but the right dial would not turn the heat on). I waited months for the service company to replace a part which they said was back ordered with no estimated time of arrival. They also said that 14 other customers were waiting for the same exact part for months. I contacted Frigidaire™€™s customer support line and spoke with someone who was completely incompetent. They claimed the part didn™€™t exist and they would take another 7-10 days to try to find another part. If that part didn™€™t turn up in those 7-10 days then they would consider starting a replacement unit request which would take another 7-10 days. After weeks of waiting and calling back I demanded to speak to their manager. Of course managers weren™€™t working. Magically, I got a letter the next day saying that the part can™€™t be located and that I would be getting a replacement unit. Three weeks later I got a replacement unit. The oven turns on and works. The display is missing LCD lines where the temperature is, so the 5™€™s look like 3™€™s. I™€™m writing this back at square one to get a part replaced to fix it. This should not be happening on a $3000 stove.

Just purchased and a few surprises.

YB02 7/12/2024

I just bought this and haven't even plugged it in yet. The 1st thing I noticed when I unpacked was there is only a single gliding rack. I went back and looked at the product description and sure enough, there it was only a single gliding rack. Seemed odd to me that they didn't do both as gliding, especially given it is the "Professional" model. So, I went to the web site and looked for accessories. Sure enough you can buy a gliding rack, but when I tried, it said it was not compatible with this model. So, I chatted support and sure enough, you can't buy a 2nd gliding rack. Seems pretty odd to me that isn't available, but I was told it isn't. So, since this is a new range and new technology, I decided to look into an Extended Service Plan (ESA). I went thru the process, found a good deal and went to check out....but much to my surprise, when I tried to purchase I was told this model is not available for an ESA. I again reached out to support and they told me I had to wait until my 1 year warranty expired before I could purchase an ESA. I've never head this before. So you need to get out of warranty to extend you warranty? I haven't used the oven yet, hope I'm going to like it, but I'm 0 for 2 on the first issues encountered. Hope things get better from here.

The induction cooktop is very disappointing. The oven is fine.

JanAtheCPA 5/20/2024

This induction cooktop is barely adequate, and I sure expected a lot more for the price of this model. When I decided to try induction, I got a little portable single-burner unit which sat on top of my glasstop electric range. I used this for months before I finally decided to invest in the full induction/convection experience. That little unit had super quick and responsive touch controls AND a really awesome timer, which I could set and not worry about getting distracted and overcooking something. Awesome for drying or seasoning cast iron and carbon steel pans - you just walk away. This model has no cooktop timer, although the owner's manual online said that it did. Turns out, that's only for "some" models, and this model came with that same manual - plus a one-page insert showing that it did not have the timer. The touch controls on this "pro" model are annoyingly sluggish, and there's a wide area across the entire front of the cooktop that says "no pans below this line" but if you even put a metal utensil (like tongs) in this area the range starts beeping frantically and then the whole cooktop shuts down. In fact it feels like it's constantly beeping at me for unknown reasons while I'm cooking. Or if I'm not. The cooktop spends most of the day completely off and completely cool, but if I put anything down in that area it still beeps frantically. My kitchen is small, and the range is right next to the fridge, so sue me - and what's the problem if it's not powered up? To add insult to injury, this $3,000 range can't keep time. The clock loses a full minute every 3 (three!) days. And the two timers on the oven face? They are hard to set if you hold them down to set a higher amount of time than, say, 9, because suddenly you've missed 10, you see 15 flashing by, and you're at 30 before you know it. I still can't figure out the magic touch to get it to stop at 15 or even 20 where I could back down as needed. It's a bunch of single presses or go to 30 and go back down with a bunch of single presses. I understand that incremental steps after 10 are useful, and that is what I'm used to - but I'm also used to a reasonable pace with ten-minute increments that are easy to see and easy stop at. Also, unlike my former GE range, I don't see how to add time to an existing countdown - apparently you have to cancel and start over. This is all made more difficult because you're crouching down to see the timers which are on the face of the oven door (and I'm only 5'4"). I'd rather go back thirty years (many ranges ago) and use a good old fashioned mechanical timer with a dial. And I guess I'm going to have to put a piece of electrical tape over the clock so I don't inadvertently trust the time it shows. On a $3,000 range.

Beautiful, high-end looking range

EddieDFWPR 5/4/2024

This is a beautiful range with very high-end look. It has a good size convection oven and illuminated knobs. The induction cooktop heats remarkably well, simmer its easy. Only thing I don™€™t like is touch buttons are not too responsive, need to touch them several times follow command. I guess it is something of most induction cooktops. Overall very happy with my purchase.

Obsessed!

Miz87 4/16/2024

Where to start with the Frigidaire professional series induction range. The induction cooktop is extremely user friendly and cooks food evenly every time. I have three kiddos running around so the safety factor of the cooktop may be my favorite feature. The cooktop only heats the bottom of the pan so no other spot on the cooktop gets hot while cooking! Once you lift your pan you can immediately wipe down your surface because it goes cool to the touch once you lift the pan. The oven cooks and bakes perfectly and the air-fry mode makes the most delicious fries, salmon, vegetables, and more! I look forward to using it daily, truly makes life easier!

Great stove and oven

Bsantana 3/6/2024

I absolutely love this unit! I redid my kitchen in 2020 and got all new appliances from another brand. My stove was something I worried about daily with small children. The knobs were extremely easy to turn on and no cover would fit. With this all my anxiety has disappeared. There are only 2 knobs and both have to be turned on together for it to work. There is also a lockout that works for both the stove and oven! The power boost mode even boiled water in less than 2 minutes from ice water. I love how the stovetop only works with induction cookware and will turn off automatically if the pot is removed for an extended amount of time. I have found that the stainless steel stays cleaner than I expected even with little fingers constantly touching, and its a breeze to clean. The sliding rack makes baking so much easier when I need to check on something or remove it from the oven! Overall I would recommend this for safety features, looks and function!

Exceeded expectations

TA29 3/1/2024

This is a great range... The induction burners heat our pots so much faster and more consistently than a regular electric range. The range top has multiple pot size burners available and also a bridge mode for a griddle. The oven is equipped with a slide out rack, regular rack and an air fry basket/rack. We tested the air fry option on some mozzarella sticks and they came our crispy, and perfectly cooked. The oven also has multiple settings: bake, convection, air fry, steam bake, no preheat, to name a few... We love & highly recommend this stove!!

Great Range

Cosbourne 2/17/2024

Highly recommend this range! There are so many different ways to cook with the oven, and so much more space on the inside. The oven heats up very quickly with easy to use controls and a very clear screen displaying the time and temperature on the front of the range. The racks on the inside move very smoothly and are easy to re arrange for optimal cooking or baking. The stainless steal is finger print resistant and easy to clean and looks very good in the kitchen. The induction range is much safer to use than our old stove top and the controls for the stove top are easy to see and use. I like that the touch screen buttons require a press and hold so that I don™€™t accidentally change the settings while cooking. I™€™m so excited to continue to use this product and think it is an amazing addition to my kitchen!

Induction cooking at its finest

MJJunie 2/12/2024

Just received my new Frigidaire Induction Professional Stove. I am truly excited! It is a gem to cook and bake with. The magnetic cooking is fast and very efficient. The oven does a beautiful job and has many different options for air frying, baking, and broiling. It is such a breeze to register this product but taking your iPhone and snapping the decal on the front of the oven. All done registering. Easy peasy! This stove is the best I have ever used and I love to cook and bake so loving everything about this product. Thank you again!

Induction is the way to go!

RayTer3660614 2/10/2024

We love our induction range! There is a bit of a learning curve going from a conventional range to an induction range. It is well worth the effort! The controls are very easy to operate. It heats qucikly and cooks evenly! The sleek design is very appealing and attractive. We couldn™€™t be happier!

So Many Options!

Uncspe76 2/9/2024

We have been very pleased with our new Frigidaire induction range with total convection.  It not only looks great, but offers so many options and features that we have never had before.  The induction cooktop is faster and easier to reach desired temperatures and also seems to cook more evenly than any burners we have had in the past.  The convection oven also is faster and cooks more evenly.  We haven't had a chance to use all the features yet, but have really been pleased with the Air Fry for crispy wings, and the slow cook for a tender roast.  Have been more than pleased with everything so far, and look forward to trying the other features out soon!

Frigidaire-30" Induction Range with Total Convection Frigidaire - 30" Induction Range with Total Convection

Val91 2/3/2024

Overall a great appliance if you are looking to upgrade! The induction works really well and I was very impressed with the speed of cooking on the cooktop as well as the convection oven feature. I like that the stovetop is easy to clean since nothing gets cooked on the cooktop when spills happen. Pans heat up quickly and heat is easy to control with a simple touch of the finger. A big plus is that my kitchens temperature stays consistent, meaning it doesn™€™t heat up my kitchen. All the features on it that I tried work well. We are enjoying the convection/air fry feature a lot for cooking meats and vegetables. Our previous model did not have these features. Looking to try new recipes for my family. ??We are using Towncraft cookware and the heat consistency is positive. This unit was a substantial upgrade from our previous range. My wife and I don™€™t have any reservations for choosing this model. I would definitely recommend it to a friend!! Great product!.
